These Terms govern your use of CookDay operated by PersonalChefApps, LLC at https://getcookday.app. By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
The Service
CookDay helps personal chefs plan menus, collect household approvals, and manage related workflows. Features may change as we improve the product.
Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and use the Service lawfully.
Client and household data
If you enter information about your clients or their households, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for informing them as required. We process that information to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Beta and founding rates
While CookDay is in beta, we may offer access without a paid subscription and without a payment card. Beta has no fixed end date. We will notify you by email before beta ends and will state the date beta closes.
When beta closes, a 14-day free trial begins. No payment card is required to start the trial.
Chefs who create an account while beta is open are founding-eligible. After the trial, founding-eligible chefs may subscribe at the founding rate of $29/month or $290/year, billed automatically until canceled, while they remain subscribed. Chefs who join after beta closes pay the then-current list price ($50/month or $500/year unless we publish a different price).
You may cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing. There is no charge unless you subscribe. You may export or delete your account as described below.
During beta, features may be added, changed, or removed as we improve the Service.
Subscriptions and fees
After any applicable beta period and CookDay’s 14-day free trial (no payment card required to start the trial), subscription is $50/month or $500/year unless you are founding-eligible as described above. Subscriptions are billed automatically until you cancel. Map listing on PersonalChefFinder is included with an active CookDay subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. Cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing (Stripe Customer Portal). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If your trial ends without a subscription, you may export your data or delete your account from Settings or the subscribe screen. Recipe export is the master library unless you include household versions. We may retain data for up to 30 days before automated purge.
Cookies and analytics
We use optional cookies for analytics and advertising as described in our Cookie Policy. You can accept or reject optional cookies; rejecting them does not block your use of the Service. We do not use session replay or screen recording.
Account termination
You may delete your account from Settings or the billing screen. Deletion removes your recipes, clients, menus, and related data. Canceling a subscription does not delete your account.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, or upload unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
